• It's been a while but there's not been much to report on the truck front. A house move has taken - and is still taking - huge chunks of time. Since the trip in summer I've only done a couple of minor bits-and-bobs but am hoping, quite soon, to crack on with the conversion to 9 inch wheels and 14 inch tyres.

The sedimenter bowl modification and exhaust mount repairs have both proved trouble-free for about 3000 miles now. I strongly recommend any LD owners address the sedimenter bowl position / poor fuel unions to avoid any problems whilst travelling. The whole thing, as standard, seem like a real weak spot.

Tweaks and fixes are an ongoing part of the project. This series of pages form a blog - of sorts - and is intended to give a flavour of the day-to-day realities of living with the truck as issues crop up and tweaks and fixes progress. Many of the posts eventually end up getting written up properly and included in the main body of the Trip Truck site; so if you think you have read any of the older posts somewhere else, you almost certainly have.
