• Just back from a week's trip to Dumfries and Galloway. As per the pic, open spaces are easily accomplished there.

Truck performed well and some sustained 50+mph cruising on the way back down showed a definite improvement in the wheel-wobble scenario. I'm going to try another 2 ounces of Dynabeads in each front tyre to see the effect.

As always, the trip gave rise to some ideas for ongoing tweaks / improvements; very minor stuff though, the fundamental design and equipment choices are proving their worth time and again.

Of course, layout and equipment are a very personal thing and depend on so many factors that it's little wonder what is right for some is totally unsuitable for others. Whichever way these things are designed and built, compromise is a constant companion...

Tweaks and fixes are an ongoing part of the project. This series of pages form a blog - of sorts - and is intended to give a flavour of the day-to-day realities of living with the truck as issues crop up and tweaks and fixes progress. Many of the posts eventually end up getting written up properly and included in the main body of the Trip Truck site; so if you think you have read any of the older posts somewhere else, you almost certainly have.
