• Back from a ten day trip over the Christmas holidays - all the recent heater mods worked very well. Perhaps the best mod of all was the addition of a blown air outlet in the 'quiet seat' area. The outlet allows a warm waft of air to circulate under the drop-down table and helps enormously with a more even distribution of heat throughout the interior. Some of the nights were cold but we found ourselves turning the heaters onto 'maintain' mode at about 22 deg C - a very comfortable temperature inside.

One problem raised its head: I discovered a sealant failure in one corner of the shower tray. The old stuff needs digging out and a new bead running.

Tweaks and fixes are an ongoing part of the project. This series of pages form a blog - of sorts - and is intended to give a flavour of the day-to-day realities of living with the truck as issues crop up and tweaks and fixes progress. Many of the posts eventually end up getting written up properly and included in the main body of the Trip Truck site; so if you think you have read any of the older posts somewhere else, you almost certainly have.
