Svalbard Trip - Day 18 - Svalbard

Well, that was an incredibly packed day and, as per yesterday, I'm going to have to cop out for now and catch up with the blog entries properly sometime future.

In a nutshell, though, the day's included walking with bins, a run, an organised bike trip (compete with guide, thermos flasks and rifle), and then an extended boat trip that included some excellent birding, interesting geology, an awesome calving glacier, the abandoned Soviet mining town of Pyramiden, and beluga whales!

We didn't get back to the hotel until 11.35pm and have another early start and full-on day tomorrow. And the day after...
