Only a short drive today after racing about yesterday. Found a top spot to overnight in a 'natural park'. Heavily wooded area with lots of broadleaf trees. Hardly any people but a couple of naturalist types around. Emma had a slow and loud conversation with one who was studying deer. Wild boar in area too.
A couple of bird songs that I can't place and can't spot because of the foliage. Observation hatch works well and is already being fought over.
Saw what I'm pretty sure was a slow worm although much more golden in colour than I've ever seen.
