Couldn't resist stopping here. We were due a tea break anyway and with excellent timing chanced upon this salt marsh / wet pasture area that was teeming with bird life. Saw yellow wagtail, spoonbill, a pink footed goose, a knot in its bright red breeding plumage and the usual array of greylags, lapwings, and herons etc.

Top spot - and it only rained a little bit!
