Today has mainly been stressful. The Tarn Gorge has countless dozens of lorry-busting craggy overhangs and more 3.5 metre height restrictions than anyone trying to be on holiday should be forced to encounter. In some places we had maybe 4cm to spare.

The gorge itself is pretty but a victim of its own reputation. It's utterly rammed with tourists and entrepreneurial ways to extract the tourist dollar.

We won't be rushing back, even in an appropriately sized vehicle.
