Stinking hot again today after a pleasantly cool night last night (thanks to the altitude).

Steady drive on quite roads where possible and passed through some pleasant scenery. Took diesel on which proved, as has been the case so far, to be relatively easy. Credit cards working OK.

Seen a few wooden churches and quaint villages but there's a slight sense of tat and many tourist traps seem a bit dog-endy.

Overnighting spots seem a bit tough to score but we are managing.

Emma biked and I managed a swim in a lake that was used by locals and holiday makers. Emma didn't go in as she thought it a bit mucky. I put a brave man face on but she was right,, it was.
