Iceland Trip - Day 23 - Iceland

Just down the road from Gullfoss is Geysir, perhaps Iceland's most prolific contribution to languages worldwide.

Though the original 60 metre powerhouse is now resting relatively peacefully, its smaller sibling, Strokkur, powers on.

Well worth seeing, and a good reminder that the surroundings are far from stable. Iceland knows many ways to terrorise anything that dares to live here.
