We spent the remainder of today with a couple of steady walks and more lazing and gazing. There were plenty of birds about but we didn't see anything unusual, we did stumble upon some more very fetching landscapes, though. The weather also changed dramatically at about lunch time and it's been sun-burny hot since then.
We're currently, as per the coordinates, in line waiting for the Norröna, to turn up to take us back to Hirshals. From there we just have the blast across Denmark on Tuesday and the Harwich - home drive on Wednesday to go.
For anyone that might be interested, Smyril Line seem to have the mainland Europe to Iceland service sewn up and the Norröna is about as civilised a way to make the journey with a vehicle as is possible. It's essentially a well equipped, long distance RORO ferry and the company have been operating the service for years: www.smyrilline.com for details.
