Emma found a tick in the truck at last night's overnighting spot so both yesterday evening's and today's conversations have been fairly predictable: in summary I am now following detailed instructions and being very careful about ticks.
We went to the most famous castle in Slovakia today and it is huge. It's in ruins now but much has survived and it's very spectacular. Emma did the full thing whilst I rested up and did some man jobs knowing we had ground to cover.
This afternoon we did just that and are now not far from the Ukraine border. We should be in by lunchtime tomorrow.
Some of the roads over the past two days have been shocking with massive defects and in places just a scarified surface full of holes. The suspension seats have proved invaluable but I do worry about the integrity of the box.
